Swf2js, yes you heard that right, publish your swf as usual, it will just work


I tried it…was skeptical but wow it works.
In the old days you have HTML code embeding the swf.
In this version you have the JavaScript interpreting the swf in realtime.

Slow you might say…not if it is powered by WebGL !
I tried it…again I am very skeptical but it actually works.

Here are what doesn’t work and seeing that the author doesn’t reply to my issues…maybe it will never be fixed.

1: Doesn’t play sound, yap, you can just forget about that.
2: Doesn’t work for build in components be it AS2 or AS3.
3: Works very well for AS2 [as long as you forget about sound], AS3…I didn’t test for AS3.
